Service Description
Alpha Employment Service
Alpha Employment Service (AES) is a no-cost specialist employment service that assists job seekers on the Autism Spectrum or those with similar needs with employment preparation, job search, job placement and post placement support, in the open labour market. AES operates as part of the Disability Employment Network (DEN).
Alpha Pre-Vocational Training
The Alpha Pre- Vocational program was developed to specifically bridge the ‘gap’ between leaving school and seeking employment options.
The programs also focus on developing skills to maintain personal independence and gain open employment.
Alpha Adult Training and Support Services
All Alpha Autism ‘ATSS’ programs have been developed to address the fundamental aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder, namely communication, social interaction and behaviour. The particular strategies include the promotion of independent living and prevocational skills, facilitating community inclusion and developing recreation and leisure activities. The aim is for each client to reach their potential and have maximum control over their lives.
