Alpha Outbound

Alpha Outbound

Recreational Program for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and those with similar needs.

Alpha Outbound Club

Alpha Outbound provides its members with an opportunity to participate in a range of social activities and short breaks whilst being assisted by experienced support workers. These events currently occur monthly on either a Saturday or Sunday and there may also be some weekend evening events.

Alpha Outbound is a club where members join and receive a calendar of events from which to choose activities they wish to participate in. Members (and their families) have the opportunity to suggest activities and build new relationships thereby fostering a sense of belonging and interest in the club.

Who is eligible?

People can become members if they are -

- Currently funded by the Southern Region of the Department of Human Services;

- An adult (over 18 years of age) and living at home with parents or carer;

- Diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Cost

A member's contribution towards costs will vary according to the activity being undertaken. Costs for each activity will be stated on the Calendar of Events sent to members and/or their families/carers.
