Welcome to Alpha North

Alpha North was established in 1997, originally located at 3 Ethel Street, Thornbury with a mere 6 clients. There we were co-located with (the then known) Northcote-Preston Helping Hand Association.

In 2001 we moved to our purpose built premises (where we are currently located) at 30b Union Street, Northcote, we are co-located again with (the now known) Northern Support Service.

We currently have 21 clients predominantly coming from the Northern Metropolitan Region and Eastern Metropolitan Region.

In 2007 we have had new 3 families so far joining us within the centre and we have started our Home to Community Support Service for people with higher specialised needs whom within their Person Centred Planning process have seen to be more suitable to a community outreach model as opposed to a centred based (with community programs) model.

We look forward to being able to cater for more needs, and to continue to cater the needs of our existing client base.

With new clients and families we also welcome new and specialised staff to the team.
