Employment Update.

2010 and into the future.

Alpha is delighted to announce that the Alpha Employment Services was successful in the tender process for a new contract to provide Disability Employment Services for those with ASD and are now developing a range of new services and training to assist people with ASD to enjoy successful careers.   

The 2010 contract has allowed Alpha to expand it's services and we are now assisting over 100 eager job seekers.  

The team of Alpha consultants, Jason, Britt, Wade and Rod now offer an integrated service including a individual plan for each job seeker, training and support with resume writing and job seeker, direct marketing of applicants to employers and accredited training in job skills such as retail and administration.

We would like to congratulate the 6 young people who graduated with the Certificate 2 in Retail Services in July. They are now all keen to obtain ongoing work in the retail industry. 

A very succesful project has been the partnership with the National Australia Bank offering interview training to job seekers. The mock interviews have been held at the NAB offices and has been a great experience for the interviewees. We would like to thank the NAB volunteers for all their assistance and look forward to working together to assist more job seekers.
